The screenplay was written by Billy Ray and executive producers are Gregory Goodman, Eli Bush and Kevin Spacey. Peter Greengrass is the director of the Rated PG film.
"(The US Navy) helped us make the film," said director Peter Greengrass about his experiences with our armed forces. "The experience of making the film was different...very clear difference...the scale of the problem of the haves and the have's an emerging police problem."
"I have some friends in the Navy," said Barkhad about his experience with the US military. "It gave me a different...and nice the people are. They came to me and we had talks."
