(December 19, 2023) - "As faith would have it, on October 7th I met this young lady," said Soul singer Antoine Dunn about his newest single "October 7th" (Harvey Marie Records). "I wrote it 10 years ago; I don't rush art...you have to live life first."Antoine is a Billboard Top 15 Chart topping recording artist and a multi-instrumentalist. The single is accompanied by a music video that has a cameo appearance from Hollywood actor Monte Bell (Bank Heist). The New York native performs often and will be performing Thursday December 21, 2023, at the MGM National Harbor for the Frank Ski Holiday Party.

"Somebody's gonna cry," Antoine laughed when I asked about his upcoming performance. "As far as fans and sales go east coast is best, DC/Baltimore/NY areas."

Dunn has performed at the Beacon Theatre, SOB, Chrysler Hall, Constitution Hall, and the Greek Theater.

"I'm a Cleveland, Ohio native," he said when I asked about his relocation to Los Angeles.

He started his music career in 2011. Wrote "October 7th" in 2014. He took a break, returned in 2020 with a new album, and the single is on that project.

"I came back in 2020 and then the pandemic hit," Dunn said disappointedly. "'Oct 7th' is part of my project released in 2020."

Antoine Dunn is in a sense re-releasing his 2020 project.

"It's remastered," he added.

When I was talking to him about how signature songs are often inspired by God he continued, "I believe it (songwriting) it's a specific calling over my life. I look at these songs and say I didn't write this song!"

"The dream think happens to me too," he said when I said iconic artists have told me in interviews how their hit songs came to them in dreams. "I experience miracles all the time."

"My life is shaped by tragedy...there is something special about this song," Antoine said about his single "October 7th."

Antoine has been writing songs since he was twelve years-old. His aunt was a professional Gospel singer in Cleveland and as far as his immediate family having professional singers, there is only him. www.HarveyMarieRecords.com
