The Pulse of Entertainment: Kurt Deimer Says ‘Dance' on New Single Off Upcoming Double Album ‘And
So It Begins...'
(April
2, 2024) - "I missed a flight...wanted to write a really good song while I waited," said Hard Rock's Kurt
Deimer about his new single "Dance," which is accompanied by a recently
released music video. "It's about life's curve balls...the good and bad...and how you have to dance your way through
life."Kurt is currently on tour promoting the new single until June, 2024. His Kurt Deimer Tour started March 12th in
Nashville, TN with TESLA and ends June 11th in Denver, CO with TESLA. TESLA is a California based Rock band that has sold
over a million albums in the U.S. alone. Deimer, a native of Cincinnati, directed the music video for his new single "Dance"
with Los Angeles as the backdrop. The single is from his highly anticipated album "And So It Begins...".
"It's
a double album...'And So It Begins...'," Kurt informed me when I asked. "The artwork is dark, then there is light...I
look up to the light."
Aside from his music, Deimer is also a filmmaker and actor. His Hellbilly Hollow movie is a franchise
which he stars in. He executive produced Eye For an Eye and Atonement, both are television movies. He also stars in the film
Halloween with Michael Myers and in Trading Paint with John Travolta. Kurt Deimer is managed by Brian Wheat (TESLA). He has
recorded and released over 20 songs with producer Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, James Brown). His style and current single is
what you call old-fashion Rock.
"I enjoy songwriting," Deimer pointed out. "I always try to write things I've learned
in life."
Raised
in a Methodist Church, Deimer takes every opportunity in what he creates to promote the goodness of God. Kurt uses his love
for Hard Rock to spread God's light.
"I was raised in a United Methodist
Church. I went every Sunday," Kurt said lightly laughing. "I was even an eagle scout and was in church plays."
Kurt continued
to talk about his upbringing as I admired how he took his love for Hard Rock to touch the hearts of hard-rockers. He also
talked about how his grandfather and father have oil companies.
"My grandfather and father both are in the oil business. My father
was also a motivational speaker. I got into it (oil business) before acting and music," he pointed out to me. "I
was told I couldn't do it, but I started my own oil company, now I have two! One runs itself, so I can do what I do, spread
the Word."
Deimer said his father, by example, taught him to always carry a message of positivity. So, when life throws
you curve balls, Hard Rock's Kurt Deimer says, "Dance!" www.KurtDeimer.com
