The Pulse of Entertainment: Canyon Star TV Launches Under the Golden Spotlight
with ‘The Hollywood Times' Judy Shields

(July 23, 2024) - "He came up with the idea and the name," said Judy
Shields about her new show "Under the Golden Spotlight" on Canyon
Star TV (CSTV), the digital network of Country music's Joey Canyon (New Music Weekly's 2016 ‘Best New
Country Artist'). "I'm a freelance writer for an outlet here in Hollywood (The Hollywood Times) and I interviewed Joey
Canyon. We got to talking...he wanted to do interviews on Canyon Star TV."
Launched in 2023, the Canyon Star
TV network is a digital platform that is already streaming over 20,000 viewers daily. Aside from "Under the Golden Spotlight"
with Judy Shields, it has 900 other titles. Just recently CSTV added, along with "Under the Golden Spotlight," The
Tim Kelly Show, Center Stage with the Stars, Tony Durso's two shows - "Insider's Brief" and "Bouncing Back"
with co-host Max James, The Rosie & Bill Show, Branson Country USA, and Tony's Backstage Pass.
The Canyon Star TV network
strives to offer to viewers free family friendly programming that they continue to add to. The network also airs music videos
from some of Country's favorites artists such as Kelly Lang, The Oak Ridge Boys, T. Graham Brown and more. Programming includes
talk shows, children's shows, outdoor living, shopping, faith-based movies, sports, travel, and history shows.
Judy's interviews
on "Under the Golden Spotlight," aside from including me, she says includes TJ Sheppard and his wife Kelly, and
                                    T. Graham Brown. The Canyon Star TV streaming network was also founded by Kelly Kantz who serves as president. I previously
interviewed Kantz for The Pulse of Entertainment when the network launched. Shields, who joined The Hollywood Times in 2013,
                                    is currently its editor-at-large.
"I still write for The Hollywood Times,"
                                    she added when I asked.

When talking
about her humble beginning at The Hollywood Times Judy said, "I was working at a law firm...IT work and event planning.
A friend asked if I wanted to ghost write for her. I realized I wasn't getting credit."
Judy said that is when she started
writing her own pieces to be published. Now her interviews are on the Canyon Star TV's Under the Golden Spotlight, expanding
                                    her audience
"My dream (guests) are Dolly Parton...for her songwriting. Morgan Freeman, and Willie Nelson," she
                                    said when I asked.
I think Judy Shields is well on her way, as with her Joey Canyon interview all she has to do is ask
because she is a pro, and it will show. Log on anytime at www.CanyonStar.tv for "Under the Golden Spotlight" with Judy Shields on Roku, Fire
