(February 14, 2025) - "I am not a fan of labels," said Contemporary Christian Rock artist David Ryan Wynne, lead singer for the band Reviving Dayvid, about the meaning to their newest single "No Labels" (Nash Town Entertainment). "People have been mislabeled...categories are not healthy."

David is knee deep in his Christian faith, all you need do is talk to him or listen to his music ministry. He has a mission to win the hearts of music lovers with his message and Rock-hard vocals.

"My journey started in kindergarten. I was more of an instrumentalist. My main instrument was the piano. I played in high school...played in the band in church. I'm a decent guitarist for songwriting. It was after eight years of bible school when I said yes to Jesus," he explained about his humble Christian beginnings. "It was popular. From eight to 13 I was...rolling...in the church. At 13 my parents stop going to church. My grandmother at 14 passed away...my parents divorced at 17."

Wynne said he started diving deep into his music for comfort and started drifting down another road in life searching - until God told him to "show me...go outside the walls of the church."

David decided to water down the Gospel to make it simple. To not condemn others but...walk the walk.

"It wasn't an easy road," the Chattanooga, Tennessee native, Nashville resident pointed out. "But God was there the whole time. I played in public, private and basement sessions. Music is a hobby (now)...too much time (being a musician) is unhealthy. Family first."

"The song is a story about us...the chorus is explosive with drums and guitars," he said, not mentioning how explosive his vocals get on the chorus. "It's a good driving song...with a dramatic melody."

Reviving Dayvid made their debut with a 12-song album "Open Up" (Nash Town Entertainment) around 2018-2019. It received the Josie Music Award for Best Christian Album. The "No Labels" single follows that project and it's produced by Grammy nominated Sal Oliveri (Pink, Tim McGraw).  www.RevivingDayvid.com
