The Pulse of Entertainment: Innervision Records' Vice President Adam Leibovitz is Busy Signing
Billboard Chart-Toppers
by Dr. Eunice Moseley

(June 17, 2025)- "I'm proud of what we have accomplished," said Adam
Leibovitz, Vice President of A&R and Radio Promotions at Innervision Records. "We
were the little engine that couldn't, now we're...at another level."
Innervision Records is the home of eight-time #1 Billboard chart-topping
Jazz guitarist Blake Aaron, whose music is played on Fox's "Mad TV," and Steven Seagal's Half Past Dead 2. Also
making themselves at home at Innervision Records is Jazz flutist Kim Scott, another #1 Billboard chart-topper and a member
of the trio Jazz in Pink. Though it's a long list of other musicians, Innervision Records is also the home of Smooth Jazz
guitarist dee Brown (Dean Brown) who has recorded with George Benson, Stephanie Mills, Aretha Franklin, Bebe Winans, and Gerald
Albright.
"I started
working with a Smooth Jazz promotions company around 1998...as a paid internship. They went to Las Vegas, so I decided to
start my own company," Adam told me when I asked how he came to work at the record label. "I've been doing that
ever since."
Adams' Smooth Jazz public relations and promotions
company worked with Luther Vandross, Sade', Celine Dion, Brian McKnight and Boney James - just to name a few. Leibovitz is
known for saying he likes to break-in new artists. Now that he is at Innervision Records Adam is not only working with Smooth
Jazz, but NeoSoul and World Music. The Innervision Records label was named the Smooth Jazz Label of the Year in 2022. Their
musician Blake Aaron's latest album reached #1 on Billboard again, making it his eighth, and Kim Scott reached #1 on Mediabase
Singles Chart.
"I met them (Innervision Records) through Blake
Aaron, he's on the label. I became their national director of promotions (2006)," Adam pointed out. "You couldn't
do major radio but through a record label. So, I brought artists to Innervision to get them on radio."

Don't mistake the American Innervision record label with the one launched
in England in 1999. The label of the group Wham, with member George Michaels, because it folded in 2000. The American Innervision
Records launched around 2000 and is celebrating over 25 years. Its general manager is Steve Belkins. Innervision Records is
also busy pumping out the music and #1 Billboard chart-toppers with new material, not only from Aaron, Scott and Brown, but
drummer Pat Petrillo; keyboardist Rick Habana; guitarist Richard Smith; guitarist JJ Sansaverino; guitarist Alex Crown, and
saxophonist Dean James.
I asked Adam how he picks his artists for
the Innervision Records label, and he said, "Some I solicit to, or they are artists I've worked with, and I bring them
over."
"So far, we have some interesting musicians,"
Adam said as we concluded our interview. www.InnervisionRecords.com
