The Pulse of Entertainment: Jazz Guitarist Gregory
Goodloe, a Billboard Chart-Topper, Releases New Single ‘Unlimited' Produced by Grammy Winning Michael Broening

(September 16, 2025) - "I wanted to put his
signature sound in there," said Billboard chart-topping Jazz guitarist Gregory Goodloe about his
new single "Unlimited" (Hip Jazz Records) having the flavor of the iconic Jazz guitarist
George Benson. "I hung out with him on four different occasions. He is a mentor to me. When I was a kid I wanted to be
like him."
Goodloe said now that his mentor is up there in age, he wanted to pay homage to his
legacy as a guitar player. You know how George Benson pops those guitar strings. Gregory Goodloe creatively integrates that
sound into his own style of playing. In fact, his style of guitar playing makes him a legend as well. His musical journey
as a Jazz guitarist started early and continued even while serving in the military (U. S. Army). His musical legacy continues
today with the release of his latest single "Unlimited."
"The
horn is Michael Broening," he said when I asked who the awesome horn player was on the new single "Unlimited."
"He is the producer and co-writer. He used a program (his keyboard). The drums too. He is a good programmer. It sounds
like real drums. I had to get used to it because I'm use to real drums."
The "Unlimited" project
is produced by Grammy winning keyboardist Michael Broening (George Benson, Al Jarreau). The single also has assistance from
two-time Grammy winning Mel Brown (bass) and Grammy winning Freddie Fox (rhythm guitar) who is also husband and guitarist
of Evelyn Champayne King.
Gregory Goodloe's last single "Groovin' On" reached #1 on the Billboard
Charts. Making it his second #1 Billboard hit single. His first being his single "Stylin'".
"It
made it to #1 on Billboard and it's still on the Billboard charts. It has been there for a year. It (recently) went from 147
back up to 71," Gregory said when I asked about his last single's success.
"I am over-whelmed. I
am currently working on three projects," he said when I asked what he was currently doing. "A Smooth Jazz song.
I am trying to come up with the melody, and two church projects."
On his past projects Gregory Goodloe has had the assistance of Billboard chart-topping producers Darren Rahn,
Adam Hawley, Bob Baldwin and Jeff Canady. As a guitarist he has worked with Grammy winners Ben Tankard, Shirley Caesar, Howard
Hewett and B2K. He has also worked with Grammy nominated Tank and trio Surface. www.GregoryGoodloe.com
