(September 23, 2025) - "God gave me new music," said Frederick J (Dukes, Jr.) about the release of his new single "Mighty God" (BeFrederized Entertainment) from his new album "Transitions" in 2026. "We transition. Transitions of life."A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Frederick J was born to sing the Gospel of Christ, and his fan-base includes the United States and as far as Europe. Europe is where is was recently touring. Currently managed by The D'Garia Music Agency, Frederick J resides in Nashville where he is also a producer, and Praise & Worship leader.

"My godfather took me to Europe," he said when I asked about him touring Europe.

"My granddad was a pastor in Pennsylvania...my dad a pastor, so I was pretty much born into the whole church (environment)," Frederick J told me when I mentioned that he sounds like pastor on the new single "Mighty God." "I'm a licensed minister. I started playing the piano (in the church)...from there I started songwriting for (church) plays."

Frederick J's grandfather's church is the Willow Way Baptist Church. He sang there as well as other churches, such as for Maranatha Ministries. Now he is singing at Kingdom Light Ministries.

When talking about the meaning behind the new album "Transitions" Frederick J said, "We go through transitions...we move forward. It's not a negative thing...we come from different things. My transitions help me positively for my greater positions (destiny)."

"God is a timely God," he added. "He reveals things to you...to make you mature enough...to be great."

Frederick J said his mission is to "capture the hearts of man and lead them to the heart of God." That will help lead them to transition into their greater position.

Aside from his music and ministry, Frederick J is also a hairstylist and owner of an online boutique called BeFrederized (in honor of his mother) and he is a registered nurse (RN)!  www.BeFrederized.com
