(October 10, 2025) - "Asking God, ‘What is my purpose?', ‘What do you want me to do on earth?," said Praise & Worship leader Malcom Christopher, II about the meaning behind his latest single "Purpose and Plan" (MC2 Music). "I was asking when I was 12 - 13 years-old. He showed me what that was. God blessed me with so many gifts."

"He led me to minister through music," Malcolm pointed out when I asked.

The Dallas, Texas native's "Purpose and Plan" single is from his "Still Standing" album release. Malcom Christopher, II is also a teacher (health) and coach, and has shared the stage with such Gospel music hitmakers as James Fortune & FIYA, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, and Brian Courtney Wilson.

"Yes, I'm still teaching and coaching," he said when I asked if he still was teaching since the last time we talked. "But music is what I really want to do."

I asked him where his talents came from and he said, "I grew up in the church...began to sing in the choir. From there I found my relationship with Him and He said, ‘Not only can you sing about me through the lyrics of others...but through what you go through."

As a result, Christopher began songwriting. His "Do It For Me" single's music video appeared on BET Network's "BET Gospel Stellar Awards Videos."

"They all have a moment in time...to reflect on their lives...(and discover) I have a purpose," Malcom pointed out as his desired effect on listeners of his "Purpose and Plan" single.

I asked if he has been able to see what his music ministry has done in others' lives yet and he said, "It comes back to me in lots of different ways., People say, ‘I listen to your music, and it spoke to me....has uplifted my spirits'."

"Also, with...worship...you hear certain things. That helps me," Malcom Christopher, II concluded.
