The Pulse of Entertainment: Country Music's Justin Jeansonne Releases
‘Little Jake' Album and Signs with New Manager
(January 30, 2026) - "She's old school...," said
Country music's Justin Jeansonne about his new manager Donna Cardellino (HGTV's Paul LaFrance).
"I had a few...managers that help me with some steps (in his career). I was interested but...had been taken advantage
of."
However, with some encouragement from his father, who Donna met first, Justin made the move and brought on
new management.
"It was a handshake," he said.
"He is smart, and savvy in business. I include him in everything.
Most managers don't do that. You don't have to handhold him," Donna said as we talked about her new client Country's
finest Justin Jeansonne. "We are ready to make deals."
"We will take it as it comes," Justin added. "I grew
the product...I have to just maintain my drive."
Donna said that Justin, a native of Mobile, Alabama, came already established
and her job is to simply organize and enhance what he has already done.
Jeansonne's newest album is "Little
Jake," about his son who passed away at two years old. The current single from the project is "Holding
My Baby." The single is about when Justin's child passed away.
"I was on stage one night in a club...adlibbing
(about his son's passing) and it morphed into what it is now," Justin said when I asked about the birth of the single.
Justin Jeansonne was enlisted in the Marine Corps and when he left, he turned to music.
"I decided
in 2012 - 2013 after leaving the Marine Corps to play music for a living" he told me when I asked. "I moved to Nashville
for two years and then went back - into the Army. In 2016 I put my band back together...managing myself...been doing nothing
else. I do this full time."
Justin's band consists of Dayton Olson on harmonica,
Dylan Heflin on drums, and Maison Faulk on bass. You will find Justin on his guitar. Aside from Country the band is fluent
in Blues, Funk and Southern Rock.
Now Justin Jeansonne has Donna Cardellino. Aside from managing Justin, she also manages the career
of HGTV celebrity designer Paul LaFrance. Cardellino is also a television producer. Her credits in TV production include the
special "Growing Up Greek." www.JustinJeansonne.com
