(March 20, 2026) - "We were talking about drums and the engineer referred Stokely to me because he has worked with him," said Billboard chart-topping Jazz vocalist Lindsey Webster about two-time Grammy nominated musician Stokely Williams (Mint Condition, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson) playing drums and percussion on her 7th album "Music in Me" (Shanachie Entertainment).

Stokely is also a featured vocalist on the album's current single "Two Hearts."

"Years and years ago we did a show and he was playing drums; I was a featured artist," Webster pointed out me when I asked about her connections to the front man of the iconic band Mint Condition. "We do a duet on ‘Two Hearts'."

"Anthony Hamilton was actually supposed to do the (‘Two Hearts') duet...but it fell through...I was so disappointed. I have opened up for him," Lindsey pointed out as we continued to talk about the new single "Two Hearts" that features the unmistakable vocals of Billboard chart-topping Stokely Williams. "He (Anthony Hamilton) didn't know...he told me, ‘We'll do our own song.' So, through persistence and Anthony being Anthony we did a duet. I had a verse and bridge. We took the bridge out for Anthony's version...it was surreal. It turned out to be a blessing."

That song Grammy winning Anthony Hamilton eventually did with Lindsey Webster is titled "Best in Me". Also featured on the "Music in Me" album are Keith Slattery her personal pianist and her songwriting and producing partner; Keyon Harrold (Beyonce', Maxwell) a featured trumpeter on the track "Time on You,;" Isaiah Sharkey (Patti LaBelle, Keith Urban) is a featured guitarist on the track "The Truth is Never Told," and rapper Kev Choice (Ledisi, Lauryn Hill) is on the track titled "Cali."

"I am so grateful," she said about her new project, "I get to live out an incredible dream."

"I am normally in the Smooth Jazz lane...but I am breaking into R&B with this album," she added with a slight laugh.

The "Music in Me" album is distributed by Shanachie Entertainment and offers 13 tracks from the Woodstock, New York Contemporary Jazz vocalist who is also fluent in Pop and Soul. Webster released her debut project at the age of 24 in 2013. Before signing a record deal with Shanachie Entertainment Lindsey's musical home was at Atlantic Records.  www.LindseyWebsterMusic.com  www.Shanachie.com
