The Pulse of Entertainment: Producer Stanley Brown Launches Timeless Music Group on Roc Nation, Release
Debut Single ‘God is Good' with Hezekiah, Karen Clark Sheard, and Kierra Sheard  (February 24, 2023) - "This is what I envisioned to introduce my label,"
said Stanley Brown, a living legend in the field of record label executives (Karen Clarke Sheard), about
the release of the single "God is Good" with Hezekiah Walker, Karen Clark Sheard, and Kierra Sheard from his new
label Timeless Music Group. The imprint is distributed by Roc Nation.
Stanley is a music producer and composer
who started his career at the record label Island Black Music (Dru Hill, LL Cool J) as Vice President of A&R. He went
on to serve as Senior Director of A&R at Motown Records. He is responsible for signing T.D. Jakes and co-produced for
Karen Clark Sheard. He has served as executive produced for Jason Nelson for his RCA Inspiration debut.
The "God
is Good" (Timeless Music Group/Roc Nation) single is written and produced by Brown, along with Rodney Jerkins
(Dark Child) and J. Drew Sheard. The single leads up to the Timeless Music Group's as yet not titled debut album.
"This is my very first project (for the label)," he said. "I wanted to introduce the label with a compilation
record with some people I started out in Gospel with. I fused the two - my background in Urban music with Gospel. A bridge
for this generation, outside of the walls (of the church). I want to be clear about the message but sonically reach those
outside of...the Andre Crouch era."
"It will diffidently be a Gospel project," Stanley said about
the upcoming album. "My goal is the message (God is good)."
About the featured artists on "God is
Good" Brown said, "In 1997 I had the honor of signing Karen. Executive produced her album. My brother Hez and I
started the Love Fellowship Choir together."
The debut Timeless Music Group album is due out in May, 2023.
"We are shooting for May...dropping another single first. Right now, we're letting this ("God is Good")
play out with a message of ‘God is good' for this summer," he concluded.
Currently, aside from running
his label, Stanley consults for Dark Child, serves as music director of Greater Allen Cathedral of New York, Vice President
of Gospel at IMG Artists, and serves as executive producer at JSM Music, Inc. (GM, Pepsi, IBM, Subway, McDonald). Credits
