The Pulse of Entertainment: R&B/Pop's Tejai Moore Releases ‘Letter to God' Single (March 31, 2023) - "It's about keeping faith," said singer/songwriter
and producer Tejai Moore about his new single "Letter to God" (Two
Queens Media).
"I go by Tejai Moore now," he pointed out to me. We continued to talk about the meaning
of the single "Letter to God," and he said, "Because it's not easy...and that's where faith comes in."
"I was recently invited to the Grammy's...Beyonce' was there and accepted her award, she broke the record for
the most Grammy awards, and the first thing she did was to thank God...she was the only one," Tejai pointed out to me.
"I want to show people (too) who God is, and the things God can do. If He can do it for me, He can do it for you. This
culture...thinks its ok to do demonic things...keep God first."
Tejai is known as an R&B/Pop artist and
when asked about releasing a Gospel track he said, "It's not my first actually. I did one called ‘Purpose.' I'm
living in my purpose. I work in R&B and Pop."
The single uses autotune and when I asked about it, Moore
said, "It's...a style of mine I have been using it since the beginning. I think everybody uses it. It's like photo editing."
His music career started in early 2000's as Lil T. The Miami native went to school in Germany and then moved back
to the United States in 2007, he then signed with the GS Boyz label. Tejai opened for the Migos, Jagged Edge and Sean Kingston
in Europe. He was a featured vocalist on Swagga Splash's "Around Me" single. As a songwriter he wrote Curtis Moore's
"Lipstick" in 2013 and Rough Copy's ("X-Factor") "Street Love" (Epic Records) in 2014 which
reached Top 30 R&B Charts in the UK.
Through Top Notch Music Tejai. released his "Let's Fly" single.
In 2014 an EP titled "Drums and Heartbeats" was released and then a followup EP in 2016 through 341 Music Group
titled "Irregular." In 2018 Moore released his debut album "Write My Wrongs."
Now signed to
Two Queens Media management group, Tajai Moore releases "Letter to God," bringing a fresh Hip-Hop sound to Gospel
music.
"I want to reach people. So we have to be a little shrewd in the way we reach them," he said as
we ended our interview. www.TwoQueens.media www.TejaiMoore.com SYNDICATED
