(May 16, 2023) - "I'm on set and I'm naming them by their character names," said Gospel singer/songwriter Archduchess of Divinity about performing for the cast of "Young & the Restless" during a presentation to them by the Los Angeles chapter of the NAACP for their work with underprivileged kids. "My husband met the president of the NAACP who had a relationship with Michelle (Phyllis Summers of ‘Y&R'). Since the pandemic...he helped them give out toys and food and my husband told him of the song...and he watched the video."

As a result, the Archduchess found herself on the program which took place at the CBS Studios, a celebration of 50 years of the daytime drama "Young and the Restless."

"My older siblings watched ‘Young and the Restless'," she added when I mentioned I use to watch the daytime drama regularly while in undergraduate school.

Archduchess of Divinity's was born Dominique. She is a pastor, and her husband Walter Frank, Sr. is a minister at Refuge Christians Center COGIC. The song she performed at the CBS anniversary celebration for the "Young and the Restless" show is titled "No More" (Eddie's Angels Records/Universal Music Group/Zarephath Enterprises) and it is accompanied with a music video. It is an emotional song that talks about death by guns.

"I'm actually a hair stylist," Archduchess told me when I asked. "Clients include Regina King, I've gone on tour with Missy Elliott, Tweet...I'm also a pastor."

When I asked her where she got the stage name Archduchess of Divinity she said, "The Holy Spirit gave me that name when He told me what He wanted me to do - music."

About the song "No More" she said, "The Holy Spirit gave me and my husband the lyrics one night. A producer sent a track and the Holy Spirit started singing it to me. It's #1 in the UK!"

The Archduchess of Divinity is a preachers' kid who debuted with her first single "The Greatest Name in History," which was originally released on Eddie's Angel's Records. It was written by Walter and Dominique Frank and later re-released by Universal Music Group/Zarephath Enterprises. Her second single was called "Cry Out." The "Cry Out" single reached #10 on BDS Radio Chart. If all this is not enough, she also has a web-based talk show with guests that have included NY Giants' quarter back Darney Holmes, former NFL running back Darick Holmes and author Dray Scott.

"It's a deep deep song," the Archduchess said about "No More." "The first time (you hear it) you don't get everything...but the more you listen to it..."

"The way the world is...lost kids to police brutality, murdered by police. It talks about different traumatic experiences that impact the world," she said as we concluded our talk.
