The Pulse of Entertainment: Angel and Shardella Release Duet Single ‘Revoked’ on Atlas Elite Entertainment (June 9, 2023) - "It's still...#1 sold at Amazon for three days, #2 on
R&B Chart on Amazon, and #3 or #4 on R&B Radio Singles and it has one million streams on Soundcloud," said platinum
selling singer/songwriter Angel Sessions about her new single "Revoked" (Atlas
Elite Entertainment), a duet with her daughter rising star Shardella Sessions.
"I went
to visit her in Chicago," Angel said when asked how the single came to be. "I said, ‘Let's do a song together.'
She said, ‘OK.' I stayed for three weeks. It almost didn't happen because she was so busy. One night she was up doing
something with Wae (another rapper on the label). She said, ‘Want to do something?'"
Angel and Shardella
went into the studio and "Revoked" was the result.
"I said, ‘What do you want to write?' She
said, of course, a love song,'" Sessions informed me as we continued to talk about the new single. "She came up
with the hook and I came up with my verse. Her part and my part came together."
The artists at Atlas Elite
Entertainment are always pumping out new material. Earlier this year Angel released a Gospel EP "Called (The Chosen)"
and Shardella an EP titled "Gemini SZN". The single from "Gemini SZN" titled "Juice" reached
#1 on Amazon's Best New Release Chart. The title track from "Called (The Chosen)" reached #8 on the UK iTunes Chart
and #1 on Amazon's Best in Sells Chart and Top 10 Best New Release on Amazon in Christian Music category.
"Big
Wae is coming out with a single ‘Parliament Passion,'" Angel added. "It's a rap song featuring Shardella.
My Gospel EP is ‘Called (The Chosen).' Just for my fans I released ‘Let's Go Ride.' It came out years ago, but
not digitally...so, I put it out digitally."
Angel Sessions' releases has garnered her platinum status. She
is a sought-after performer and vocalist who has performed with Fred Hammond and Carl Thomas. She received the President's
Choice Award from Soul Café' Radio. Her debut was on Volt Records (Freda Payne, The Delfonics, The Dramatics) in 1998.
She went on to sing on a demo of material for the Supremes and eventually performed with Mary Wilson as a Supreme. www.AngelSessions.com www.AtlasEliteEntertainment.com SYNDICATED
